BWDP Investments has been acting as the charitable outreach & support branch of Birmingham Web Development Partnership since 2009.

Birmingham Public Relations Network

Since 2007, Birmingham Public Relations Network has acted as an independent analysis & review committee on behalf of Birmingham's busy PR & marketing industry.

Birmingham Public Relations Directory

Birmingham Public Relations Directory is the leading online business listing service for Birmingham's advertising, branding, marketing and PR companies. Featuring comprehensive analytics of agencies' websites, including traffic statistics, inward-bound link analysis, and programming quality reports provided by the World Wide Web Consortium. Listing is free for all Birmingham-based companies that are registered with Companies House and operating predominantly in the PR & marketing industry.

The site needs restructuring & back-end reprogramming; and the database may be merged with @Birmingham Business Directory.

@Birmingham is an online portal set to host a range of sites for Birmingham, in association with Birmingham Web Development Partnership.

@Birmingham Business Directory

The creation of an online business directory dedicated to Birmingham has been a key project since 2005; although serious work on @Birmingham Business Directory only began in 2009.

SEO Example

SEO Example is a comprehensive guide to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO); suitable for anyone from web design students to professionals, to small & large business owners with websites and little or no SEO knowledge.

This site can also serve as an easy-to-follow yet fully-comprehensive point of reference for professional SEO specialists.

Populometer

Introducing the Populometer, a BWDP project since 2008.

The Populometric Rank (POP Rank) of a website is like a cross between Google PageRank and Alexa Traffic Rank.

Quangometer

The Quangometer is a fully-functioning online version of the simple, theoretical concept of measurement that's been prevalent in British politics for decades. Our Quangometer produces remarkably accurate results, summed up by Quangometric Quotients, based on a simple set of background checks on the website of each suspected Quango.

The Quangometer can instantly assess the estimated level of an organisation's activity that really makes an impact on the streets.

The World Wide Web Consortium

By developing standards for Web languages and protocols, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) works hard to avoid Web fragmentation. BWDP has been working on sustainable translations of some important W3C documents; credit to Luo Siu Man, Si Zi Shan, Fern Yong Lee, and Josh Liu.

Metropolis 2

Metropolis 2 Ltd is one of the brightest PR, marketing & general communications agencies in Birmingham; based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham City Centre and serving clients around the globe.

For supporting BWDP from startup in 2005, with strategic marketing tips and general webmaster advice, much credit is due to Lorelei Web Design.
